Family Support Testimonials
Please find testimonials below. Due to the delicate nature of the support I provide, my families have chosen to stay anonymous.
"Sarah has been amazingly supportive with help liaising with our son’s school over the past two years. His behaviour was greatly misunderstood at school and he was getting into trouble on a regular basis. Sarah’s advice in advance of meetings and help with emails assisted us to get the right support in place. This has been so successful that our son’s behaviour is now praised, he no longer needs any SEN support and although he still finds some situations and subjects challenging, he has been identified as highly gifted in other areas. We are so grateful to Sarah for her advice and support, her knowledge and experience is invaluable. She really helped us clarify our thoughts, talk through what worked best for our son and how to approach school. We would not hesitate to return for further support should we need it again in the future."

"When our son began Year 1, it became clear that he was finding school and the new challenges of the curriculum increasingly overwhelming. It appeared that there was a barrier to his learning which was causing him to loose confidence in himself and he stopped enjoying school. Our happy son who had felt so secure in Reception became withdrawn and homework and school attendance was a battle. Sarah listened to our worries and worked with us to uncover the specific areas of school that had become so difficult. We were then able to engage a specialist who assessed our son and diagnosed dyslexia. Reading and writing are still difficult for our son but now we know how to help him. He feels understood and supported and school has once again opened up for him and he can access the work now the right provision is in place. Thank you Sarah, for your help and guidance."

"When our son started Reception it became clear that he had a delay that we were unable to "put our finger on". It was very hard to explain the difference in behaviours between our child at home and in the school environment. Sarah was able to read the reports from school and explain them in a way we could understand, removing the educational jargon and making the suggestions easier to understand. We engaged a wonderful Occupational Therapist and even though we know we are moving towards an autism diagnosis, the family support we received has taken the fear out of what this all means for our wonderful boy going forward. Thank you, Sarah."
